We walk past the dead with a blind eye; never realising that it's a living being.We humiliate it's very existence and crush it to death......a hundred times. That living creature that used to live each day to hunt and survive; he gets trampled in one go......and Again... and Again.
I look at this creature whose body parts seem to be indistinguishable --- his eyes seem glued to the earth and his mouth looks disfigured. Flattened by humans, driving their fastest of cars ; he still kisses the earth and feels home. Nobody bothers to give him a sound burial.
A tragic event , and we all cross by ; looking at this dark lump on the road --- IGNORANTLY.
A day will come soon, when we''ll walk past our own death " Ignorantly" and flatten it a thousand deaths ... Again...and Again!!!

The Bird In My Room
She came unnoticed on her tiny feet. Her gait so profound and a look so amazed. She walked in a few steps while i was glued to my book, when, a shadow of distraction hit my eye. The beauty of black and her red beak made her look distinct. She had the look of amazement for the place she had entered. Another few steps, when she stopped and something came out of her back----Oh, the act of emptying her bowels!!!
She turned around and was amazed at her own creation ( a mixture of black and white ). She tilted her neck on one side and then the other and watched it gravely. While she examined that black and white form ; she became alert of another observer. She turned around and looked at me; afraid of my hugeness; she looked at the open door and flew away --- Scared.
Oh she flew away, but i had to tell her that she left her black and white creation in my room.

A Journey For An Interview
All set with his cover clad resume’, he started from home before time to make it to his destination. Neatly ironed shirt, well creased trouser and the finest of his shoes made him look fresh. He waited for the bus to arrive before time – for once – and it did. Not much disturbed by the air, he took a seat and settled well with his resume’. He looked at the new advertisement of ‘all clear shampoo’ and wished his hair looked “that” neat. He crossed the flower shop and thought of gifting those flowers to his girl one day --- the day he gets a job. He smirked a little but became conscious, the moment he looked at his folder. Very slowly he stood up (not to forget his finest of shoes), and headed towards his much awaited destination. Walking down the aisle, he thought of recollecting his answers. Positively he looked up in the sky once and entered through the door. He was guided to take a seat and he thought of having water on his way. The much awaited call came at last and his name was called out. He went inside the room and greeted the lady, who seemed to be disturbed by a phone call and the greeting at the same time. As he was instructed to sit (he did that very quietly); he looked at the lady. Getting over with the call, she immediately looked at the resume’ and there came the funniest questions of all, “tell me something about yourself? “That part done (she seemed disturbed about something); she struggled to think of another question. Time over, her judgment visible on her face, she told him to wait outside.
A preparation of hours, for a five minutes’ conversation? He was called again and there he sat in front of the “disturbed lady”. Unexpectedly, she said sorry --- (for not short listing him?) – For not giving much time to him; at the same time a feedback to work upon. The day ended and he again decided to prepare for the next one – for ‘hours’. ‘Good luck’ – he says to himself and is hopeful to crack it the next time – every time.

The Shadow Behind Her Eyes
Her eyes shone bright with gleaming beauty;
She had the zeal of 'self' and 'duty';
the subdued smile waiting to change;
the fear within wanting to gauge.
The fear of life...her past and future;
the zest to learn and change the culture;
the love for life, the hatred for mankind;
the locked door in her open mind.
Inspiration comes and goes like day and night;
but once she gets it, she'll fly away like a kite.
The happiness that she gets in small things;
she still goes on with the sad things in life.
The probability of Yes's and No's in life;
the doubt of "life" getting better in real;
the subdued notorious eyes in hope;
the smile incomparable to happiness in real.
Dreams in her eyes are big and small;
Big is the focus and small is its shadow;
To cope up with the small, the big needs to come sooner;
just in this hope of coping she passes as a loner.
Let's open the doors for those who need us;
let's show her the way of a happy life;
it's not always about " live and let live ";
sometimes it's about live and show life to others.
Lets' help them overcome their suppressed feelings;
and come out with flying colours and meanings;
Let's get the broken teeth together;
and smile away to glory as mankind's mother.

Wish That I Could Fly Away
A bird I am…wish I were a bird,
With wings to fly…a kind I have heard.
I want to fly high and spread my wings,
Be All day and night with friends* and fins*.
Be with flowers where sun shines bright,
Be with the sea where the moon illumines the night.
Be with the forest where wild comes to face,
Be with the wind where this world becomes a grace.
The sound of water is what I want to feel,
The struggle of others is what I want to deal.
The quiet sounds of a forest is a thing to embrace,
To swing with the air is something of craze.
To spend a day with a windmill faraway,
And play with its wings and keep the wind away.
A day with a sunflower and many together,
And understand its relationship with the sun being the mother.
A day with a fish and water as its being,
A tree shadowing the water, and the fish admiring the scene.
A day on the seashore to see the sun go home,
And the waves glittering bright and the raindrops melting in their dome.
*Friends: other kinds of fish.
*Fins: Fish
